Remote Training k9s training shock collar collars consist of two main components: training and shock a receiver that comes attached to an all-weather collar and a collar hand-held remote control transmitter that sends signals k9s to the receiver. they are designed training to assist in the training and the behavior shock and collar modification of your dog. our remote trainers are designed to help dog owners deter unwanted behaviors from a distance. they can be used to control any misbehavior k9s that you see your dog exhibiting by using the transmitter to send a clear signal to training the receiver worn by your dog. after a few corrections shock your pet will begin to avoid the misbehavior. eventually the same collar and k9s effect can be achieved once your pet associates the tone with the correction, by using the negative tone only. almost all behaviors exhibited by your dog are "normal" dog behaviors. which training system should you get? we recommend the deluxe system with deluxe ultralight shock receiver (rf-3006v) for any dog or cat that is 8 pounds collar and k9s and training or over. with shock and collar five levels of k9s programmable correction, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. you can increase or decrease the training correction shock to meet your pet''s training needs. at level collar five, the k9s deluxe ultralight receiver is strong enough for the most stubborn dog. the training deluxe ultralight shock receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace collar the battery. if your dog is 8 pounds or over and k9s trains training easily, you may want the deluxe shock system with collar and k9s ultralight receiver (rf-3004v). the ultralight has only one level of correction and does not have the low battery indicator light. less than 1% of dogs need the stubborn dog receiver. if your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn training or hard to train you may need the deluxe system with stubborn dog receiver (rf-3005v). the stubborn dog shock receiver collar has only one level of correction that is approximately three times stronger than the ultralight receiver.
